Preliminary Minutes of the Southwestern Special Service District Meeting held on Wednesday May 21, 2025, 7:00 pm at the Winchester Hills Fire Station, Winchester Hills, Utah I. Call to Order A. Invocation - Rich B. Pledge of Allegiance - Cheryl C. Attendance - Chief out of town, Ferris running late, Rich, Kathy, Cheryl, Don Ruesch excused II. Public comments No Public in attendance III. Reports A. Fire Cheifs report - 3 calls in March all medical, 3 calls in April all medical, so far in May 3 calls one a oven fire. CPR training went well, 12 people re-certified. Celebration of Life for Don Garner. B. Approve March 2025 minutes - Cheryl made a motion to approve the March 2025 minutes, Rich 2nd that motion approved unanimously with board members present. IV. Approval of Financial Reports A. Rich financial reports - Kathy made a motion to approve the financial reports for March and April 2025, Cheryl 2nd that motion approved unanimously with board members present. B. Bills - Autopay, electric 2 months, CPR training check, Tatum 2 months, fleet fuel, and Curtis invoice. Kathy made a motion to approve the bills, Cheryl 2nd that motion approved unanimously with board members present. C. Deposits - 3 deposits VI. Business A. Discussion and ratification of county's election inter local agreement. Ferris talked with county, Post notice on website about positions opening end of December by May 22, 2025. Cheryl made a motion to signing of inter local agreement, Rich 2nd that motion approved unanimously with board members present. Cheryl made a motion to adjourn, Ferris 2nd that motion approved unanimously with board members present. Next scheduled meeting July 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm
