NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended (the 'Act'), that on June 17, 2025, the City Council (the 'Council') of Midvale City, Utah (the 'Issuer'), will hold a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Issuer's proposed Sales and Franchise Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2025 (the 'Bonds'). PURPOSE, TIME, PLACE AND LOCATION OF PUBLIC HEARING The Issuer shall hold a public hearing on June 17, 2025, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. at Midvale City Hall, 7505 South Holden Street, Midvale, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is to receive input from the public with respect to (a) the issuance of the Bonds and (b) any potential economic impact that the project to be financed with the proceeds of the Bonds may have on the private sector. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate. PURPOSE FOR ISSUING THE BONDS, MAXIMUM AMOUNT, AND SECURITY The Issuer intends to issue the Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $55,000,000 for the purpose of (a) financing the purchase of existing park property, construction and upgrade of infrastructure on certain roadways, including the construction of a linear park (collectively, the 'Project'), (b) funding any required deposit to a debt service reserve fund, and (c) paying costs of issuance with respect to the Bonds. The Bonds will be special, limited obligations of the Issuer payable from all or any portion of the revenues produced by sales and use taxes, including the Issuer's share of a transportation sales and use tax imposed by Salt Lake County, municipal energy taxes and municipal telecommunications license taxes collected by the Issuer and legally permitted to be used for the Project.
