- NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT - WATER USE AND PRESERVATION ELEMENT DATE OF NOTICE: May 27, 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of Enoch City, Utah intends to prepare a general plan amendment. The purpose of this general plan amendment is to add a new Water Use and Preservation Element to the existing General Plan, along with any necessary related updates to other elements, such as the Land Use Element, to ensure coordination. Geographic Area Affected: This amendment will affect the entire geographic area within the boundaries of Enoch City, Utah and potentially areas outside the municipal boundaries that are related to the planning of the city's territory, as determined by the planning commission. Affected entities are invited to provide information for the city to consider during the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing this comprehensive general plan amendment. Specifically, the city seeks information concerning: - Impacts that the use of land proposed in the proposed general plan amendment may have. - Uses of land within the City that the affected entity is considering that may conflict with the proposed general plan amendment. This notice is being provided to each affected entity, the Utah Geospatial Resource Center, the association of governments of which the city is a member, and is being posted as a class A notice.
