General Notice:
Uintah Water Conservancy District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Whiterocks Canal Diversion Structure
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. located at 520 West Hwy 40 Roosevelt Utah, 84066, until Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bid results will be posted on the State Purchasing website, Bonfire, at https://utah.bonfirehub.com/projects.
The Project includes the following Work: Constructing a new concrete diversion structure on the Whiterocks River to divert irrigation and culinary water into the Whiterocks Canal, dewatering, installation of approximately 105 cubic yards of reinforced concrete, installation of owner supplied radial gates and slide gates, concrete flume replacement, riprap bank protection, telemetry, and associated work. Bids will be received for a single contract.
The Project has an expected duration of 60 days and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2026.
Obtaining Bidding Documents:
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the Bonfire website after June 6, 2025. For first time users, follow the 'Register' button at the top right hand corner of the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) portal provided by Utah State Purchasing at www.utah.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities. Any responses received through the U3P Jaggaer courtesy posting will not be considered responsive, nor will they be evaluated. Questions or needed assistance can be directed to the online knowledge base, the FAQs page, or the Bonfire Support Team at support@gobonfire.com.
The designated website will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 520 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, UT 84066.
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Questions are due in writing to Karissa Musich, Administrative Assistant, at Karissa.m@jonesanddemille.com on or before Monday, June 23, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. local time.
Pre-bid Conference:
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. local time at project site access gate located 40°28'59.37'N and 109°54'17.77'W. We will then proceed down the canal to the diversion. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Instructions to Bidders:
For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner may reject any or all bids submitted.
