Notice of Public Hearing To receive comments regarding the Expansion of Resident Parking Permit Area #4 Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, at 4:00 PM Plaza 349, Room 175 349 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, Utah Dear 1200 East resident or property owner, A formal public hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, at 349 South 200 East, Room 175, Salt Lake City to receive public comments regarding the expansion of the Resident Parking Permit (RPP) Area #4 in the University Neighborhood for the block between South Temple and 100 South on 1200 East. At the public hearing, the Transportation Division will receive comments from residents and property owners regarding the proposed area expansion boundaries, as well as the appropriate rules and regulations, parking restrictions, issuance of permits, fees, and other pertinent matters. A map of the proposed Expansion RPP Area #4 is shown on the reverse side of this notice. The proposed restrictions for the area of expansion are as follows: - Time Limit Restriction: No parking from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weekdays only, except holidays. - Permit holders will be allowed to park for longer than the 10-hour window during these times. Only residents and owners of properties that front the streets shown on the map are eligible to obtain permits. The proposed number of permits issued shall be up to three regular permits and two guest permits per single-family residence. Regular permits shall be purchased annually for a fee of $49.00 per permit and the guest permits are free of charge. Fees are subject to change annually. Updated fees can be found on the City's Consolidated Fee Schedule. If you are unable to attend the public hearing but still want to provide comments, you may submit your comments by mail, telephone, email, or in-person on or before the public hearing on June 11th, 2025.
