Description/Agenda: JUAB COUNTY INTENT TO IMPOSE TRANSIENT ROOM TAX. The Juab County Commission hereby gives notice of its intent to impose a transient room tax at a rate of 4.5% on charges for accommodations and services described in Utah Code § 59-12-103(1)(i), including rentals of tourist homes, hotels, motels, trailers courts, and similar accommodations. The ordinance will become effective on July 1, 2025. A complete copy of the ordinance is available at the county clerk's office for public review. Commissioners Marvin Kenison, Clint Painter, and Marty Palmer voted for the adoption of the ordinance.
