Workshop Presentation/Staff Reports Topics: 6:30-7pm
- Reports/Updates on Parks (Rod Elwood - Parks Division Manager)
- Reports and Update on Recreation programs and events (Chad Wright - Recreation Director)
o Spring & Summer Programs & Events Including Heritage Days
1. Call to Order and Roll Call (President or Acting President)
a. Recognize City Council, Mayor, and or other public officials if present.
2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda (President or Acting President)
3. Public Comment Period1 (President or Acting President)
4. Action items review (Sara Anderson)
5. Committee Member Orientation (Chad Wright)
6. Continuation of workshop discussion of unauthorized and prohibited use of City sidewalks, trails and parks by a variety of motorized vehicles resulting in damage and public safety issues. Focus on how to reduce damage and increase public safety. (Rod Elwood & Chad Wright - Report & Intro) (President or Acting President- Lead additional Discussion)
7. Issues with dogs and dog owners in parks and along trails. Workshop discussion and consideration. (Rod Elwood & Chad Wright - Report & Intro) (President or Acting President- Lead additional Discussion)
8. Indoor Recreation Feasibility Study Project Status discussion and considerations: including but not limited to the response of public officials of surrounding communities as specific data reports were shared in their council meetings. Continued efforts to connect with other stakeholders. Next Steps and timelines, special service district approach, funding strategies and focus group considerations. Cache County feasibility study update and considerations. Items to consider in creating space at a community center for private partners. 9. Committee member reports: community/public official interaction regarding Parks and Recreation and or other reports. (President or Acting President)

1 Public input is welcomed at all Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings. 15 minutes have been allotted to receive verbal public comment. Verbal comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per person. A sign-up sheet is available at the entrance of the meeting, starting 15 minutes prior to each committee meeting and at the facilitators table for the duration of the public comment period. Commenters shall identify themselves by name and address on the comment form and or verbally for inclusion in the record. Comment will be taken in the order shown on the sign-up sheet. Written comment will also be accepted and entered into the record for the meeting if received prior to the conclusion of the meeting. Comments determined by the presiding officer to be in violation of Committee meeting rules shall be ruled out of order.
