MEADOW TOWN CORP. ___________________________________________________ PO BOX 88 MEADOW, UT 84644 UOCAVA 2025 Primary Election Notice Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act Notice is hereby given that Meadow Town will hold a municipal election this fall to elect a Mayor and two council members to the Governing Body. Each municipal office shall be a four-year terms and will begin on the first Monday of January 2026. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on August 12, 2025, with the municipal general election being held on November 4, 2025. Candidates who are United States citizens and have resided at least twelve consecutive months within the legal boundaries of Meadow Town who are registered voters may file a Declaration of Candidacy statement, or a Nomination Petition may be filed in behalf of a qualified person. Potential candidates are hereby advised that an ordinance is in force that requires compliance with Campaign Finance Disclosure requirements throughout the elective process. The filing for elective office is to be made before the Meadow Town Clerk between Monday, June 2 and Friday, June 6 before 5:00 p.m. Interested parties please contact Clerk Monica Dearden at 435-253-1155 or 435-842-2203. Ballots will be mailed at least 45 days prior to the Election date. Overseas/Military voters must postmark their ballot (or send via email) no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day - Utah local time. Military and Overseas voters may contact Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) which provides tools and resources to ensure that U.S. Citizens who want to vote can do so anywhere in the world. The absentee voting process applies to you & you may use this site to vote as an absentee if you are: - At least 18 years old. - An active-duty member of the Uniformed Services or Merchant Marine absent from your voting residence. - An eligible spouse or family member of an active-duty member of the Uniformed Services or Merchant Marine absent from your voting residence - A U.S. citizen residing outside the country.
