- ORDINANCE NO. O-22-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH, ADOPTING THE NATURAL OPEN SPACE & WILDLIFE HABITAT MANAGEMENT PLAN PREAMBLE WHEREAS, Eagle Mountain City recognizes the importance of preserving and responsibly managing its natural open spaces and wildlife habitats as the community continues to grow and develop; and WHEREAS, the City has undertaken efforts to assess current conditions and identify best practices for the long-term stewardship of open space lands, native vegetation, and sensitive wildlife areas; and WHEREAS, the Natural Open Space & Wildlife Habitat Management Plan has been prepared to provide guidance on protecting ecological resources, enhancing recreational opportunities, and balancing development with environmental sustainability; and WHEREAS, adoption of this plan will serve as a foundational document for City planning and maintenance efforts related to natural land assets and habitat connectivity; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Eagle Mountain City, Utah: 1. The Natural Open Space & Wildlife Habitat Management Plan is hereby adopted, as set forth specifically in Exhibit A. 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its first posting or publication. ADOPTED by the City Council of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, this 20th day of May, 2025.
