- ***TRUSTEE ELECTION NOTICE*** The Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District dba The Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center (KOPFC) has two (2) Trustee positions open for election. Each position is elected to serve a four (4) year term. The election will be held on November 4, 2025. To become a candidate for an elective position on the KOPFC board, qualified persons must file a Declaration of Candidacy with the KOPFC Election Clerk at 5624 S. Cougar Lane, Kearns UT. The filing period is Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Monday, June 9, 2025 from 9:00 am to the 5:00 p.m. filing deadline. Declaration of Candidacy forms can be obtained at the District office at 5624 S Cougar Lane, Kearns, UT or on our website: https://www.oquirrhrec.gov. Candidate qualifications at time of filing are: - Be a U.S. Citizen - Be a registered voter at the location of the candidate's residence - Be a resident of the Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District ***AVISO DE ELECCI N PARA FIDEICOMISARIO*** The Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District dba The Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center (KOPFC) tien dos (2) puestos abiertos para elección en su mesa directiva. Cada puesto se elige por un periodo de cuatro(4) años. La elección se llevará a cabo el 4 de Noviembre de 2025. Para postularse a un puesto elective en la mesa directive de KOPFC, las personas que cumplan los requisitos deben presentar una Declaración de Candidatura ante la Oficina Electoral del Distrito at 5624 S. Cougar Lane, Kearns UT. El plazo para presentar los folmurarios es del Lunes, 2 de Junio al Jueves, 5 de Junio de 9:00 am a 5:00 pm y del Lunes, 9 de Junio de 2025 de 9:00 am a 5:00 p.m. fecha límite de presentación. Los formularios de Declaración de Candidatura se pueden obtener en la oficina del Distrito, 5624 S Cougar Lane, Kearns, UT o en nuestro sitio web: https://www.oquirrhrec.gov. Los requisititos del candidato al momento de presentar su candidatura son: - Ser ciudadano estadounidense - Estar registrado como votante en so lugar de residencia - Ser residente de Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District
