PUBLIC NOTICE AND AGENDA Verk Industrial Regional Public Infrastructure District Board of Trustees Special Meeting NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF VERK INDUSTRIAL REGIONAL PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE DISTRICT WILL HOLD A MEETING ON MAY 22, 2025, AT 8:30 A.M. AT THE LIBRARY HALL BUILDING, 80 S MAIN, SPANISH FORK, UTAH 84660. THE MEETING WILL OCCUR IN THE EXPLORER ROOM, ON THE 2ND FLOOR. Call to Order Preliminary Action Items C. Action Items Approve minutes from the May 1, 2025, meeting. Discussion on the timing for the District Fiscal Year and District Bylaw XVIII A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VERK INDUSTRIAL REGIONAL PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE DISTRICT ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 TENTATIVE BUDGET. And set a date for the public hearing and approval of the Final Budget. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VERK INDUSTRIAL REGIONAL PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE DISTRICT ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 TENTATIVE BUDGET. And set a date for the public hearing and approval of the Final Budget. Discussion of and selection of District Accountant/Administrator and approval of engagement letter as needed. D. Adjourn CLOSED MEETING If Needed-The Board may temporarily recess the regular meeting and convene in a closed session to discuss (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual (b) strategy sessions to discuss collective bargaining, (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation, (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, or to discuss a proposed development agreement, project proposal, or financing proposal related to the development of land owned by the state, (e) strategy sessions to discuss the sale of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, (f) discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems, (g) investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct as provided in Utah Code § 52-4-205 The district complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act by providing reasonable accommodations for those in need of assistance. This meeting will be simulcast via Google Meet so members of the Board and the public may participate electronically.
