- TOQUERVILLE CITY COUNCIL Regular Business Meeting Agenda May 21, 2025, at 6:00 pm 212 N. Toquer Blvd, Toquerville Utah This meeting will also be broadcast via YouTube live on the Toquerville City YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@toquervillecity A. CALL TO ORDER: 1. Call to Order - Mayor Justin Sip 2. Pledge of Allegiance - Councilman Sands 3. Statements of Belief/Opening Prayer - Councilman Williams B. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: 1. Approval of Agenda Order 2. Disclosures and Declarations of Conflicts from Council Members and Mayor. C. CONSENT AGENDA: 1. Review and possible approval of meeting minutes from April 16, 2025 City Council Meeting. 2. Review and possible approval of meeting minutes from May 7, 2025 City Council Meeting. 3. Review and possible approval of City Expenditures from April 2025. D. PRESENTATION: 1. Sean Amodt - Southwest Mosquito Abatement and Control District E. PUBLIC FORUM: Limit three (3) minutes per person; please address the microphone and state full name and address. Please note there will be no response by any city official during this time. For specific questions, please contact staff directly. F. PUBLIC HEARING: 1. Public input is sought on the Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. 2. Public input is sought on the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Compensation for Executive Munici-pal Officers. G. BUSINESS: 1. Discussion and possible action on a Cost Reimbursement Agreement between Toquerville City and Browse Solar LLC. 2. Discussion and possible action on Resolution 2025.XX to authorize pursuing the creation of a municipal power department. 3. Discussion and possible action regarding the Boulder Ridge Public Infrastructure District Per-formance Guarantee. 4. Discussion and possible action on a Nightly Rental application submitted by Kathy and Ray Bence. Tax ID: T-168-G, current zoning is Multiple Use (MU-20). 5. Discussion and possible action authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter to LaVerkin City regarding the proposed Critical Infrastructure Materials Protection Area. H. CALENDAR OF EVENTS: 1. Summer Community Clean-up - Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1 at Center Street Park, Trail Ridge Estates Park and Westfield Park. 2. Memorial Day Commemoration Program - Saturday, May 24 at the Toquerville Cemetery - 10:00 AM. 3. Movie in the Park - Friday, June 13 at Center Street Park - Food Trucks arrive at 7:30 PM, Movie starts at dusk. I. CLOSED SESSION: Discuss litigation, security, property acquisition or sale or the character and professional competence or physical or mental health of an individual (if needed). J. ADJOURN: In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify the City Office 435.635.1094, at least 48 hours in advance.
