- Notice of Election Pursuant to Utah Code Ann 17B-1-306, Hooper Water Improvement District will hold an election in 2025 for two (2) positions on its Board of Trustees. One position will be elected from Division 3 and one At-large position. - Division 3 includes all the HWID service area within West Point City, Unincorporated Davis County, Roy City, and all the District South of 5500 South and the area between south of 4600 South between 5500 West and 5900 West, and South of 5100 South between 5900 West and 6300 West in Hooper City - The At-Large position will be voted upon by the entire District Any District customer who wants to run for one of these positions must file a Declaration of Candidacy at the District office between June 2, 2025 and June 9, 2025. The office will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All candidates must meet the following requirements (Utah Code: 17B-1-302): Registered voter at the location of the member's residence Be a resident in the boundaries of the special district And, if applicable, be a resident within the division in which the individual is elected File a Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure Statement (Utah Code: 20A-11-1603) For More information, please visit our website at hooperwater.com or inquire at the District office: 5555 West 5500 South PO BOX 217 Hooper, UT 84315 801-985-1991 hooperwater.com Additional information regarding elections can be found at the following websites: Vote.utah.gov Weberelections.gov www.daviscountyelectionsutah.gov
