CONSENT AGENDA
1. Extension Request for 2020 Main Townhomes at Approximately 2020 S Main St - Chris Towson, the property owner, is requesting a one-year time extension for the approval of the 2020 Main Townhomes Planned Development approved on May 22, 2024. The property is zoned CC (Corridor Commercial) and is located within Council District 5, represented by Darin Mano. 2. Planned Development at Approximately 377 E 2100 S (Public Hearing) - Jon Galbraith, representing the property owner, is requesting Planned Development approval for 5 feet of additional building height. The applicant is proposing to build 22 townhome units that are three stories tall. If approved, the maximum building height will be increased to 35 feet. Currently, the land is vacant, and the property is zoned CB (Community Business) District. The subject property is within Council District 5, represented by Darin Mano. 4. Salt Lake City Water Master Plan - Salt Lake City Public Utilities will provide an overview of the current Salt Lake City Water Master Plan and an overview of the process to update the plan. The city is required by Utah Code to have a Water Master Plan. The Water Master Plan identifies existing water supply and demand, projected water supply and demand through 2060, major infrastructure projects, and risks to the water supply. 5. POSTPONED - General Plan & Zoning Map Amendment for the Rio Grande District - Wayne Mills of the SLC Community Redevelopment Agency, on behalf of Mayor Mendenhall, is requesting approval to rezone 35 parcels within the Rio Grande District and amend portions of the Downtown Plan.
A. General Plan Amendment: Requesting to amend portions of the Downtown Plan in order to align with recommendations of the recently completed Rio Grande District Vision and Implementation Plan. Case Number: PLNPCM2025-00180
B. Zoning Map Amendment: Requesting to rezone 35 parcels within this district from GMU (Gateway Mixed Use) to D-4 (Downtown Secondary Central Business) District. The change would allow for additional building height. Case Number: PLNPCM2025-00181

6. Partial Street Vacation Request at Approximately 1101 W 400 S - Erik Sansom, the property owner, is requesting approval to vacate a portion of public right-of-way adjacent to his property at the above listed address. The area in question is approximately 5 feet between the property boundaries and the public sidewalk. The subject property is zoned R-1/5,000 (Single-Family Residential), and is located within Council District 2, represented by Alejandro Puy. 7. Zoning Administration Text Amendment - Mayor Erin Mendenhall has initiated a Text Amendment proposing amendments to multiple sections of Title 21A - Zoning. The proposal seeks to clarify and update provisions related to the administration of the zoning code. These changes are primarily a cleanup to align the code with established processes, current practices, and recently adopted state laws. The proposal would apply citywide.
