NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Salt Lake City is accepting public comments on the City's proposed Annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2025-2026, for recommended projects and activities to be undertaken with federal funds under the following U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $ 4,800,831
CDBG funds may be used for the development of viable urban communities by providing decent housing and suitable living environments for persons of low and moderate-income.
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) $ 293,174
ESG funds may be used to assist individuals and families regain housing stability after experiencing a housing or homelessness crisis.
- HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) $ 1,639,318
- HOME funds may be used to create affordable housing opportunities for low-income households.
- Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) $972,032
HOPWA funds may be used to provide housing assistance and related supportive services to persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
The plan is available for review, and copies may be obtained by appointment in the Housing Stability Division Office, located at the Salt Lake City & County Building - 451 S State Street, Room 445, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. Information about the City's Annual Action Plan for 2025-2026, and the related Consolidated Plan for 2025-2029 can also be found on Salt Lake City's Housing Stability website at https://www.slc.gov/housingstability/.
Comments will be accepted for 15 days, from Monday, May 19th, 2025, to Monday, June 2nd, 2025.
Please provide comments to the Housing Stability Division at housingstability_hud@slc.gov. All comments received during the public comment period will be provided to HUD.
