Approval of the Minutes:
Item No. 1 Approval of the Minutes: The Providence City Council will consider for approval the minutes of April 23rd, 2025. (MINUTES)

Presentations/Public Hearings:
Item No. 2 Sauerkraut Days 2025 Presentation: The Providence City Council will hear a presentation given by the Sauerkraut Days Committee regarding this year's Sauerkraut Days.
Item No. 3 FYE 2026 Tentative Budget Public Hearing: The Providence City Council will take comments and questions from the public regarding the City's FYE 2026 tentative budgets.
Item No. 4 Municipality Broadband, Cable TV & Public Transportation Services Public Hearing: Providence City Council will be holding a public hearing to take comments and questions regarding Providence City's Municipality Broadband, Cable Television, and Public Telecommunications Services Annual Report per SB 165. Report can be found in the tentative budget (Appendix B).
Item No. 5 Possible COG Projects for Program Year 2027 Public Hearing: The Providence City Council will take comments and questions and may direct staff regarding the application of possible COG projects for program year 2027. Possible projects include but are not limited to street updates on 300 E from Center St. to 200 N including a roundabout at 200 N.
Resolutions/Ordinances:
Item No. 6 Ordinance 02-2025 Rezone of Parcel 02-096-0035: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may take action on Ordinance 02-2025, which if approved would rezone parcel 02- 096-0035 from MXD to CHD (North 1 Acre) & R-M-18 (South 1.5 Acre) and which is general located in the area of 440 W 300 S. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this rezone on March 12th and recommended to the City Council that they approve the rezone request. (REZONE ANALYSIS) & (ORDIN. 02-2025)
Item No. 7 Resolution 01-2025 FYE 2026 Tentative Budgets: The Providence City Council will consider for adoption a resolution approving the FYE 2026 Tentative Budgets for all funds. Final budgets to be approved in June. (RES 01-2025 TENTATIVE BUDGETS)
Agreements, Contracts, Bid Awards:
Item No. 8 Fiber for Highlands Phase 4 and PON Cabinet Construction Bid: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may accept a bid for construction of extending fiber to the Highlands phase 4 and beyond including a new PON Cabinet. (ESTIMATE) (CONSTRUCTION LAYOUTS)
Item No. 9 Fiber Gateway Installation Construction Bid: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may accept a bid for construction of extending fiber to the remaining buildings at The Gateway. (ESTIMATES)
Plans and Other Business:
Item No. 10 Fiber Installation Request from Jesse Pace: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may take action on a request from Jesse Pace to have fiber installed at his home located at 680 S. 770 E. River Heights, UT (Technically located in unincorporated county).

Executive Session Notice:
