NOTICE OF ORDINANCES
Notice is hereby given that the Cedar City Council at its regular meeting of May 7, 2025, passed the following ordinance:
1. Ordinance No. 0507-25 - An Ordinance vacating a public right-of-way & public utility easement located at approximately 2500 North Main Street;
2. Ordinance No. 0507-25-1 - An Ordinance amending Ordinance 35-13 further restricting the sale of automobiles on public streets;
3. Ordinance No. 0507-25-2 - An Ordinance amending sections 2-21, 11-I-3, 17-18(H), 17-20, 23-9, 23-12-A, 25-3, 25-8, 27-22, 27A-8, 27A-11, 33-1, 35-1, 35B-4, 35B-7, 39-I-2, 39-I-4 and 39-I-5 to correct outdated Utah Code references; and
4. Ordinance No. 0507-25-3 - An Ordinance amending Cedar City Ordinance 17-18(C) and 17-18(D) pertaining to fireworks to match current State Code terminology & to emphasize that the Fire Department can issue a permit for firework displays but cannot guarantee their safety.
Said Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon posting on the State of Utah Public Notice Website.
A Copy of said ordinances may be seen and/or purchased at the office of the Cedar City Recorder, 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.
