Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed.

5. Department Reports:
a. Sheriffs Report - 10 total details, 17 citations, nothing notable. Mayor wants a few middle of the night shifts.
b. Stockton Fire Dept- Working on brush 51 truck, lights will be extensive. Technology that shows if something on coming is going to hit the truck it will notify with flashing lights. Controlled burns going on around the county. Met at the new station and walked through. Tentative date for open house May 31st. Modifying some bridges up the canyon. Temp crossings currently. ISO rating for June 17th. Will be testing the hydrants and waiting for parts to come in. Going to test all hydrants this year. We need to track all of the time we do on mitigation. There are funds available, we need to track. Dumpsters will be here May 21-28, same spot. No hazmat materials. A few ball teams are practicing there. Justin's team raked it. team wants to do a project, maybe lights. Justin is trying to get a connex box for field stuff. N plan on playing games, just practices as of now.
c. Planning and Zoning Report-Alicia Unruh, trying to figure out the property at the end of old county road. Clerical error on the GIS map. P&Z feels they should have to pay for it. there are irrigation, culinary, and sewer lines in that property. Mayor- there are easements. Owner needs to pay for a survey. There may be stakes out there?? Meeting for General Plan next week.
d. Mayors Report-tax increase, tentative budget for next year needs worked on.

7. 3rd quarter budget review - Please review for next month
8. KILGORE- HB 355 If it wasn't zoned for mining then you can't mine it. Changed zoning. Doesn't matter what the zoning is, they can mine it. Gravel Pit will be coming more south into town. nothing to stop them from mining gravel pit. 'If someone has a gravel pit they can expand it' Can we protect the historical marking on top of tab?? Kilgore put In application to DEQ to expand pit in August. This passed in February. Looking more into it. Mayor met with DEQ and will have a model review. Requested a public hearing for May 1st 6pm. The whole community will be impacted. Maybe we can stall it but probably cant stop it. present concerns at hearing. Law goes in effect May 6th or 7th.

13. Council Reports- Steve- can we have a meeting to discuss WATER, paper water?? Cecil douglas came with permit to Whitney. 24acre ft 1acre ft per house. Stockton over used what we had.
