TOWN OF STOCKTON 18 North Johnson Street PO Box 240 Stockton, Utah 84071 Phone: (435)882-3877 PLANNING AND ZONING AGENDA Tuesday, April 1, 2025 7pm MINUTES Notice is given that the Stockton Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting promptly at 7:00 pm in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed. Call to Order-Mitchell Solomon 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Approval of February and March minutes Gary approve , 2nd Steve all approved 4. Public Comments (3-5 minutes)-Dave Thomas, wants to build a metal building 30x50, he has plans and needs to fill out permit in packet given to Henry. Bring in drawing to be located on the property. He will fill out app and get the engineer approval. Alicia Unruh is present for comment on 3.7 acres for #11 on agenda 5. Close public comments 6. Town Council report from March meeting. No comments 7. Miner, planning on building a garage on property- not present 8. Anderton- wants to get permit on a retainer wall, higher than 4ft high. West side, approval to build retaining wall. And will after the wall is done pour a monolithic cement pad at a later time. Motion to approve Gary, 2nd Steve all approve 9. Steven Thompson addition to his house. Not present We did request a survey from him. 10. Kim Allred - questions on 40 west clark, 2 lots currently has a house on it. existing house you can replace, needs to be on the footprint. If tearing it down, you have to replace within the year. Will have to hook up to sewer. 11. Tom Gruenewald- 3.7 acres end of old county rd- realtor to sell. Needs to know if there is access to water, possible land locked. Alicia- GIS map is not correct. The small section that needs access the owner will allow access. Possible clerical error. Road leads to water treatment plant. They have documents showing (written permission) there is access. Irrigation lines may be in the way?? Town water lines may also needs to be there. Sewer lines will be there also. Checking with Dave and Rod to see where lines are. Is applying for water rights currently. survey needed. Get a hold of Rod, Dave and Jared Rydalch to see where all lines are. Well is getting drilled. When building a home, needs to approach Town Council and make sure no line will be in the way. 11. Council reports and assignments. Steve will attend Town Council this month. IF NEEDED 12. Motion to move into executive session Executive session: Pursuant to one or more provisions of the Open and Public Meetings Act: a. Discussion of character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; b. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining; c. Strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; d. Strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property including water rights or water shares; e. Strategy session to discuss the sale of real property, including water rights or shares; f. Discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devises, or systems; g. investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct; and/or h. Discussion of protected procurement issues, including protected trade secrets. 13.Reconvene from executive session-Announcement of purpose (s) of closed meeting 14.
