6. Discuss any new ideas/methods to organize listed projects and old actions from the last
meeting, i.e.
a. Mission Statement submitted to the city to be included in updated website
b. Plaques and website to include link for information and pictures
c. Pictures and brief histories will be able to be submitted to city web page under
the tab for the La Verkin Historical Commission
d. Need to come up with a budget amount we can ask the city for - earmarked for
plaques
e. How to request photos and histories:
i. Message/letter on water bill for individuals to write up their home history
ii. Send letter to historical site owners to collect historical information
iii. Facebook posts to collect historical information
f. Additional research needed on plaque types
g. Still plan to talk with people at the WA County Historical Society.
