NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR
DAVIS COUNTY'S 2025-2029 FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. a Public Hearing will be held in Room 303, Commission Chambers, Administration Building, 61 South Main Street, Farmington, Utah, before the Davis County Commission to accept public comments on the following:
The upcoming five-year Consolidated Plan (the Plan) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership program for funding received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The County anticipates receiving $893,189 in CDBG funding from HUD in the initial year (2025-2026) and an additional $3,572,756 (est.) over the remaining four years for a total amount of $4,465,945 (est.) during the five year period.
The County anticipates receiving $519,742 in HOME funding from HUD in the initial year (2025-2026) and an additional $2,078,968 (est.) over the remaining four years for a total amount of $2,598,710 (est.) during the five year period.
The County is responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of the Plan in accordance with the CDBG and HOME program guidelines. The Plan covers the five-year period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2030.
The draft Plan is available for public inspection and comment from May 14, 2025 to June 17, 2025 by visiting www.daviscountyutah.gov/ced/grants-and-community-development. A physical copy is also available for inspection at the Davis County Administration Building, Suite 304, 61 S. Main Street, Farmington, UT 84025, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
Prior to approving any recommendations, the Davis County Commission will consider and review all public comments, as well as recommendations provided by the Community & Economic Development Department. This is the second of two public hearings on this matter.
