- HINCKLEY TOWN AMENDED NOTICE OF COUNCIL SEAT VACANCY NOTICE is hereby given that Hinckley Town, in compliance with Utah Code Annotated, §20A-1-510, will appoint an individual to fill a vacant council seat. The council seat was vacated on May 1, 2025. Those interested in being considered for appointment of this council seat position for the period of May 27, 2025 through the end of this year shall have until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, to submit their name for consideration along with any accompanying portfolio, if they so desire to Hinckley Town Clerk Tresa Taylor. Qualified individuals must be a registered voter in Hinckley Town and meet the qualifications for office as described in U.C.A. §10-3-301. Qualified applicants will be provided an opportunity to briefly address the Town Council members and may be asked to answer some questions posed to them at the Town Council meeting held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers. After the Town Council's consideration, the successful candidate shall be selected and then sworn into office. If you have any questions, please contact the Hinckley Town office at 435-864-3522.
