Orangeville City Council Public Hearing Minutes April 10, 2025 6:30 P.M. Present at said meeting were: Mayor- Shaun Bell, Council Members- Tracy Addley, Kari Alton, Meran Kay, Kevin Butler, City Recorder- Amanda Lake, Zoning Admin.- Seth Manning, Maintenance- Travis Richards. Visitors: Kip Leavitt, David James PUBLIC HEARING 1. Introduction: Mayor Shaun Bell 2. Open Public Meeting: Motion: Kari Alton Second: Tracy Addley Motion passed with 3 affirmative votes. 3. No Public Comments 4. Approval of Adoption of Ordinance 2025-2- Adopting Section 5-3-5, and Providing a Private Right of Action for Civil Enforcement of Land Use Enforcement Matters: Amanda Lake explains that this is an Ordinance that the City Attorney created. This Ordinance is to protect the city when civil matters develop between citizens. Amanda reads the explanation that the attorney gave on this matter. Motion: made by Tracy Addley Seconded by: Meran Kay Motion passed with 4 affirmative votes. 5. Approval of Ordinance 2025-3- An Ordinance Establishing a Wage Increase and Additional Job Title for the Recorder: Amanda Lake explains that this Ordinance was requested by the Mayor and Council and decided that the Recorder also be assigned the additional job title as Office Manager. Motion: made by Kari Alton Seconded by: Tracy Addley Voting Roll Call: Tracy Addley- Aye, Kari Alton Aye, Doug Stilson- Aye, Meran Kay Aye, Kevin Butler- Aye. Motion passed with 4 affirmative votes. 6. Close Public Hearing Motion made by: Tracy Addley Seconded by: Doug Stilson Motion passed with 5 affirmative votes. Amanda Lake- Recorder
