- A financial audit is requested for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The audit must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, as promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the AICPA Audits of State and Local Governmental Units audit and accounting guide; and the Government Auditing Standards, published by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The auditor will be involved in drafting, typing, and printing financial statements, or the city may choose to create these reports (see Section E.). The city does not anticipate a single audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The financial statements and audit must be completed, and the report issued prior to December 1, 2025. The auditor must deliver 10 paper copies and one electronic copy to West Bountiful City, who in turn will be responsible for delivering one copy of the report to the State Auditor's Office and other mandatory or interested parties. All proposals must be submitted no later than MAY 22, 2025, 3:00pm.
