TOWN OF RUSH VALLEY
NOTICE OF ELECTION AND FILING PERIOD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Rush Valley will hold a municipal election to fill one (1) Mayor and two (2) Town Council positions, all four-year terms. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on August 12, 2025, with the general election being held on November 4, 2025.
Qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States citizen, at least 18 years old, at the time of filing; (2) Be a registered voter; (3) Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
Qualified candidates may file a Declaration of Candidacy form. The filing is to be done in person with Patty Rowe, Rush Valley Town Clerk/Recorder, at Rush Valley Town Hall, 52 S. Park Street, Rush Valley, Utah. To schedule an appointment, please contact Patty Rowe at (435) 255-5931. The filing period is from June 2, 2025 to June 9, 2025, and not later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing. All candidates for election are subject to financial disclosure requirements.
