Description/Agenda

Piute County is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to complete the installation of a buried conduit for electrical service to the Butch Cassidy Childhood Home south of Circleville, Utah along US Highway 89. Contractors shall be licensed in Utah. The project will include furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and services required for construction of the above project; consisting of the following items of work: obtaining all required bonds and insurance, obtaining all required permits and/or authorizations and completing highway boring at two locations along US Highway 89, trenching, backfill, compaction, and all other appurtenant work in accordance with the requirements and plans provided by Rocky Mountain Power and/or Piute County. The RFP documents will be available to download from the Sunrise Engineering plan room after May 2, 2025. https://planroom.sunrise-eng.com/#p/home. Interested Contractors must register and sign-in and choose to become a plan holder to obtain access to the RFP documents. Notices regarding changes/amendments to the RFP documents will be sent to the email address associated with the plan holder's registration. Plan holders are responsible for maintaining current and correct contact information and checking the plan room often to receive updates or additional documents/changes/amendments. A pre-proposal meeting and site tour will be held at 10:00am on May 14, 2025, at the Butch Cassidy Childhood Home parking lot south of Circleville on US Highway 89. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting and tour is not required, but highly recommended. Names of those in attendance will be recorded. Piute County will receive proposals in person or by mail until 10:00am on June 9, 2025, at 550 North Main Street, Junction, Utah 84740. Submitted proposals shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked 'BID for Piute County Butch Cassidy's Powerline Conduit Installation.' The outside of the sealed envelope shall bear the name of the Bidder, their address, license number and the name of the project for which the proposal is submitted.
