Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to UCA 77-11d-1055, the Grand County Sheriff's Office has items which have been taken into custody or otherwise remain unclaimed that are scheduled to be disposed of. The following items have either been turned into the Grand County Sheriff's Office as found property or are items that have been otherwise unclaimed. These items include backpacks, cameras, cash, clothing, phones, ID/Cards, luggage, personal items, sporting goods, musical instruments, tools, wallets/purses, and miscellaneous items.To claim this property, the rightful owner will need to provide proof of ownership with proper identification to the Grand County Sheriff's Office. An appointment can be made by calling (435) 259-4321. Property that remained unclaimed will be disposed of nine (9) days after the publication of this notice in accordance with Utah law (Utah Code Annotated § 77-11d-105).
