OFFICIAL NOTICE 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION Public notice is hereby given to inform residents of Fruit Heights City that there will be a municipal general election on November 4, 2025, for the following offices: Mayor (4-year term) At Large City Council (4-year term) At Large City Council (4-year term) Fruit Heights City will hold its Caucus Meetings on Wednesday May 14, 2025, at 7:00 pm at Fruit Heights City Hall. Residents are encouraged to attend. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: - Registered voter in the municipality in which the individual is elected - Must have resided within the municipality for which the candidate is seeking office for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election - Maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality, during the officer's term of office - If the individual resides in a territory which was annexed into the municipality: must have resided within the annexed territory or the municipality the 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election - Pay filing fee, if one is required by municipal ordinance ($25.00 fee) - Not convicted of a felony - Cannot have been declared mentally incompetent The candidate filing period is between June 2, 2025, and June 6, 2025, Monday through Friday, except weekends and holidays. A Declaration of Candidacy must be filed in person from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at 910 S Mountain Rd Fruit Heights City UT 84037. There is a $25 filing fee.
