ERDA CITY NOTICE OF ELECTION AND FILING PERIOD NOTICE is hereby given that ERDA CITY will hold a municipal election to elect two (2) City Council Members for a 4-year term; there will be one representative from each of the following districts. District 2 and District 4. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on August 12, 2025 with the municipal general election being held on November 4, 2025. Qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States citizen at the time of filing; (2) Be a registered voter of the district; (3) Be a resident of the district for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. Qualified candidates may file a Declaration of Candidacy form. Declaration of Candidacy forms can be obtained at the Erda City Office (by appointment) or at the city website erda.gov the filing is to be done in person with the Erda City Recorder at the Erda City Office located next to the Erda Fire Station at 2163 W. Erda Way, Erda, Utah. The filing period is from June 1, 2025 to June 7, 2025 during regular office hours. The recorder will be in the office on Monday June 2nd 9am-12pm , Wednesday June 4th 11am- 2pm, and Friday June 6th 2pm-5pm. Or by appointment anytime Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and not later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing.
