EAGLE MOUNTAIN SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING May 6, 2025 10 AM Eagle Mountain Senior Center 1632 East Heritage Drive, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005 1. Called to order 2. Approval of Minutes 3. Attendance 4. May Activities a. Lunch Bunch May 1, Red Lobster b. Senior Council Mtg. May 6, 10 AM c. Lunches Served May 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29 d. Bingo May 19 Bingo Sandy to do refreshments e. May 26 Memorial Day no activity. f. Exercise Class Thursday 8, 15, 22, and 29 g. Crafts, Puzzles, Art, Quilts to tie Every Wed and Thursday h. Preparing for Pony Express Days. Cinnamon rolls, quick breads and etc. i. May 17 plant flowers a Cemetery Chocolate Milk and Donuts Sandy and Mary j. Tuesday May 20 Dietary Meeting at Mag office in Orem 2 PM k. Need to plan on planting garden boxes at Senior Center we need help. l. Pony Express days booth May 29 set up at 2 PM booth open from 4 till 8 PM May 30 booth open from Noon till 8 PM m. Pony Express days Parade Saturday June 31 Meet at Senior Center to Board bus at 8:30 AM. 5. June Activities a. Lunches June 4,11,12,18,19,25, and 26 b. Lunch bunch June 5th restaurant to be named c. Crafts puzzles and painting every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 AM d. Bingo June 16 Joye to do refreshments e. Christmas in June 23 BBQ caterer to be determined f. Tour of Fire Station June 12 at 1:30 after lunch. 6. July Activities a. Senior Council July 1 at 10:00 AM b. Lunch Bunch July 3rd restaurant to be named c. Lunches July 2,9,10,16,17,23, 30, and 31 d. No Lunch on July 24 Pioneer Day e. Bingo July 21 f. Activity on July 28 to be determined. g. July 28, 5 pm presentation by Todd Black on the Sage Grouse 7. Upcoming events a. Tyson Tour b. We will not be going to the rodeo as a group this year. c. Discuss planting of flowers at the Cemetery Ellie has a plan draw up for what to plant, the boxes also need some soil added it has packed down after all these years. Flower beds need more soil. d. Planting our garden boxes. Need to talk to whoever designed our garden boxes to see if there is a possibility of making them deeper the depth is not deep enough to grow tomatoes or green peppers.
