ELECTION NOTICE 2025 Roy City Municipal Election In accordance with UCA 10-3-301 notice is hereby given that the following City positions are to be voted upon in the Roy City 2025 Municipal Election: - Mayor (four-year) - Council member (four-year) - Council member (four-year) - Council member (two-year) Mayor and two (2) Council positions are a four-year term. One (1) Council position is a two-year term due to a mid-year vacancy. This is a requirement to return this Council position back to its original voting cycle. Candidate filing period begins June 2, 2025, and ends June 6, 2025. Declaration of Candidacy must be filed in person at the Roy City Recorder's Office, located at 5051 South 1900 West, Roy: between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday. If after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, please email your completed forms to bfowers@royutah.gov. Primary Election to be held August 12, 2025 General Election to be held November 14, 2025 Certificate of Posting The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice was posted in accordance with the Utah State Code Annotated 10-3-301 on this 30th day of April 2025.
