TWO (2) CITY COUNCIL SEATS (4-YEAR TERM)
Declaration of Candidacy Submission Deadline:
JUNE 2-6, 2025, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
PERSONS interested in becoming a candidate for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder at the Oakley City Hall located at 960 West Center Street, Oakley, UT during the posted hours.
(For persons wishing to file on Friday, June 6th, 2025, you will need to contact City Recorder, Amy Rydalch at 801.870-1849 OR amy@oakleyut.gov for an in-person appointment as the office is closed for all other City business.)
QUALIFICIATIONS TO RUN FOR OFFICE ARE:
1. Be a United States citizen at the time of filing.
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality.
3. Be a resident of Oakley City for twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the election.
4. Not be a convicted felon unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
