Notice of 2025 Municipal Election Duchesne City, Utah In accordance with Utah Codes UCA 10-3-301 (2)(a), Duchesne City hereby provides notice of the upcoming 2025 General Municipal Election: Election Dates: Primary Election (if necessary): Tuesday, August 12, 2025 General Election: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 Offices to Be Filled: Mayor At-Large (4-year term) City Council Member At-Large (4-year term) City Council Member At-Large (4-year term) Candidate Filing Period: The period for filing a Declaration of Candidacy will be from Monday, June 2, 2025, through Friday, June 6, 2025, during regular business hours. Declaration of Candidacy: Qualified individuals must file in person at the Duchesne City Office, located at: Duchesne City Office, 500 East Main Street, Duchesne, Utah, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5pm. A $35.00 filing fee for City Council Member Candidates and $100.00 filing fee for Mayor Candidates will be collected during the declaration period. Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be: A United States citizen A registered voter of Duchesne City A resident of Duchesne City for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election. Ballots must be received by the Duchesne City Office no later than 8:00 PM Mountain Time on Election Day to be counted.
