The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) Notice
Positions available for the 2025 Election:
- Mayor - 4-year term
- City Council District 2 - 4-year term
- City Council District 5 - 4-year term
- City Council City Wide I - 4-year term
2025 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION August 12, 2025
2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION November 4, 2025
Any Provo City resident intending to run for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person between June 1 and June 7, 2025 (Monday through Friday only), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Forms must be submitted to the Provo City Recorder at Provo City Hall located at 455 W Center St. A filing fee of $75 is required for City Council candidates, and $150 for Mayoral candidates.
Candidates must comply with the requirements of Utah Code Section 20A-9-203.
