- OFFICIAL NOTICE 2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION DIANA BAUN Town Clerk In accordance with Utah Code Section 10-3-301(2)(a), I, Diana Baun, Town Clerk, give notice that the following offices will be voted on within the Town of Brighton in the 2025 General Election and the dates for filing a declaration of candidacy for those offices: 2025 OFFICES TO BE VOTED ON Brighton Mayor 4 year term Council Member Council At-Large 2 seats 4 year term A primary election will be held, if necessary, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The general election will be held on November 4, 2025. CANDIDATE FILING PERIODS Traditional Candidates The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified candidates begins on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025. Declarations of Candidacy must be made in person with Diana Baun, Town Clerk, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday June 2 through Friday June 6 at the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District Offices, located at 860 W. Levoy Dr., Suite 300, Taylorsville, UT 84123.
