- PUBLIC NOTICE 2025 Notice of Municipal Election and Offices In accordance with UCA Section 10-3-301, notice is hereby given that the following positions are to be voted upon in the Mapleton City Municipal General Election on November 04, 2025. (1) Mayor, four-year term (2) City Council seats each have a four-year term Terms Run January 2026 - January 2030 If a primary election is needed, it will be held on August 12, 2025. The constitutional and statutory qualification requirements for the municipal office are: - The person is a registered voter in Mapleton City. - The person will be at least 18 years old at the time of the next election. - The person is a legal resident of Springville City for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. - The person has not been convicted of a felony. DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY SUBMISSION: JUNE 02 through JUNE 06, 2025 (excluding Saturday and Sunday), 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., must be filed in person at the City Recorder's Office, 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, and pay the $35.00 filing fee.
