NOTICE OF ELECTION
2025 Notice of Municipal Election for Orangeville City
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to Utah Code § 20A-5-101, Orangeville City will hold a Municipal Election this fall to elect a Mayor and three Council Members on the General Election date, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Orangeville City elections are non-partisan.
(1) Mayor, 4-year term runs from January 2026 - January 2030
(1) City Council position, 4- year term runs from January 2026 -January 2030
(1) City Council position, 2- year term runs from January 2026 - January 2028
(1) City Council position, 2- year term runs from January 2026 - January 2028
The incumbents are: Mayor Shaun Bell and Council Members Meran Kay, Tracy Addley and Kari Alton
Qualified individuals interested in filing for one of these offices must meet the requirements outlined in Utah Code §20A-9-203:
1. Must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder at 25 N. Main St. during the period of June 2 -June 6, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. Be a United States citizen at time of filing.
3. Be at least 18 years of age.
4. Be a registered voter of Orangeville City.
5. Be a resident of Orangeville City or a resident of the recently annexed area for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
6. Not be a convicted felon
