2025 NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Richmond City will hold its Municipal Election this fall to elect three (3) Council Members and a Mayor.
The Primary Election date is Tuesday, August 12, 2025; if required.
The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Two Council Members and the Mayor will serve four (4) year terms and one (1) council member will serve a two (2) year term. All are elected at-large.
Richmond City elections are non-partisan.
The incumbents are:
Mayor: Paul J. Erickson
Council Member: Lyle Bair
Council Member: Amber Ervin
Council Member: Daryl Black
Those interested in filing for one of these offices must: Be a United States citizen at the time of filing, Be a registered voter of Richmond City, Be at least 18 years old, Be a resident of Richmond City for at least 365 days immediately preceding the date of the of the general election, November 4, 2025 and not be a convicted felon.
The candidate filing period begins on Monday, June 2, 2025 and ends on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Each person seeking to become a candidate for a municipal office shall file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder, 90 South 100 West, Richmond, Utah, during regular office hours but not later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 6, 2025. The appropriate filing form is available at the City Recorder's Office. There is no filing fee. If you have questions, please call the City Office at (435) 258-2092.
