The company will have been in business for 100 years this year on December 24, 2025. Representatives came to the Aurora City Council meeting asking for suggestions and direction as to what the community might enjoy with Western Clay's birthday celebration. Some of the suggestions included: a pickle ball tournament at the new courts behind the city office during the 3rd and 4th of July celebration. It would be fitting since the company donated to help get the courts installed. There was also a discussion about having a 5K race during the July celebrations, taking part in the Christmas @ Willowbend, having a luncheon at the park for anyone in the community with some ties to Western Clay, hosting tours of the facility and creating a history and the connection with Aurora.
