NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please be advised that the Parowan City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, Parowan City Hall, 35 E. 100 North. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding proposed amendments to Title 15 (Land Use and Development) of the Parowan City Municipal Code (PCMC), which make key changes to zoning code and land-use policies to reflect the city's vision they call 'Rural Done Right.'
'Rural Done Right' is a balanced approach to growth that protects Parowan's rural character while allowing for some reasonable and responsible development.

Keeping Parowan Rural: Preserving our historic character and small-town atmosphere, and limiting housing options to fit withing a rural theme.
Slow, Managed Growth: Ensuring development aligns with community values and infrastructure capacity.

Copies of the proposed changes are available for public inspection on the Parowan City website (www.parowan.org), and at the Parowan City Offices, 35 E. 100 N., Parowan, Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
