Town of Rocky Ridge Municipal Election
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to inform residents of the
Town of Rocky Ridge that this is an election year.
General Election will be on November 4th, 2025 for the following offices:
Mayor position - 4 year term
Town Council position - 4 year term
Town Council position - 4 year term
If a primary election is needed, it will be held on August 12th, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR TOWN COUNCIL POSITION:
- AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD
- RESIDENT OF THE TOWN OF ROCKY RIDGE FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR
- BE A REGISTERED VOTER OF THE TOWN
- THE PERSON HAS NOT BEEN CONVICTED OF A FELONY
DECLARATION OF CANDIDATE FILING IS FROM JUNE 2nd - JUNE 6th
As the Town of Rocky Ridge Office is open part-time, please contact the Town Clerk at 801-722-9150 or via email at clerk@rockyridgeut.gov to schedule a time to meet in person to declare candidacy.
Forms will be available at the Town Office at 195 East Mountain Ridge Road, Rocky Ridge, UT
(DEADLINE @5PM, JUNE 6TH)
or fill out an application on the Town's Website and make an appointment with the Town Clerk.
UTAH IS A BY-MAIL VOTING STATE
Per State Law, the 2025 Election will be a vote by mail election.
Write-ins are not allowed for a primary election if one is required.
REGISTER TO VOTE
You may register to vote in the State of Utah if you are:
- At least 18 years old on or before the next election
- A citizen of the United States
- A resident of Utah for at least 30 days before the election.
An applicant is considered a resident of Utah if he or she has his principal place of residence within Utah and intends to continue to reside within Utah indefinitely.
Voter Registration is valid for life, unless you:
- Move
- Change your name, or
- Wish to affiliate with a different party
