- PUBLIC NOTICE: * For Additional Information Regarding the Election, Voter Registration, or Candidacy: Please contact Big Water Town Hall at 60 N. Aaron Burr, Big Water, Utah 84741, via email at kjoseph@bigwaterut.gov, or by phone at (435) 675-3760. BIG WATER MUNICIPAL CORPORATION NOTICE OF UPCOMING MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION OFFICES TO BE VOTED ON: One (1) Mayoral seat (four-year term) & Two (2) Town Council seats (each for a four-year term) & One (1) Town Council seat to fill a midterm vacancy (two-year term) Candidate Filing Period: Declarations of Candidacy must be filed in person at Big Water Town Hall during the filing period, June 2-6, 2025. A Town Clerk will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Deadline: All Declarations must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 6, 2025. (Please note that this deadline is strictly enforced pursuant to Utah Code § 20A-9-203.) Please Note: Pursuant to current governance structure, any individual elected to or appointed by the Big Water Town Council shall, by virtue of their office, concurrently serve as a member of the Board of the Glen Canyon Special Service District. This provision excludes employees of the Glen Canyon Special Service District from such dual service.)
