CITY OF KAYSVILLE 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOTICE In accordance with UCA 10-3-301, notice is hereby given that the 2025 Municipal Election for the City of Kaysville will be held on November 4, 2025, to elect the following offices: - Mayor - 4-year term - Two (2) City Council seats - 4-year terms The candidate filing period will be from Monday, June 2, 2025, through Friday, June 6, 2025. Declarations of Candidacy must be filed in person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City Recorder's office, located at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, Utah 84037. A $100 filing fee is required at the time of filing. Pursuant to UCA 20A-9-203, qualifications for a municipal candidate are as follows: Must be a registered voter in Kaysville City. Must have resided within Kaysville City for 12 consecutive months immediately prior to the date of the election. Must pay the filing fee. In accordance with the Utah Constitution, Article IV, Section 6, an individual may not hold municipal office if they: Have been declared mentally incompetent. Have been convicted of a felony, treason, or a crime against the elective franchise-unless their right to hold elective office has been restored under UCA 20A-2-101. Each elected municipal officer must maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality during their term of office.
