Official Notice of Municipal Election West Bountiful City will hold a Primary Election, if necessary, on August 12, 2025, and a General Election on November 4, 2025, to elect the following offices: Council Members: Two seats with 4-year terms will be on the ballot Mayor: One seat with a 4-year term will be on the ballot The candidate filing period is between June 2, 2025, and June 6, 2025, Monday through Friday, except weekends and holidays. A Declaration of Candidacy must be filed in person from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 550 North 800 West, West Bountiful City, UT 84087. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: Registered Voter in the municipality in which the individual is elected. Must have resided within the municipality for which the candidate is seeking office for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election. Maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality during the officer's term of office. If the individual resides in a territory which was annexed into the municipality: must have resided within the annexed territory or the municipality 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election. Not have a felony conviction. Cannot have been declared mentally incompetent. This Notice was posted on the Utah Public Notice website, the city website, at the city offices, at the city park and golf course on April 22nd, 2025.
