Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT Payson City, Utah Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 10-9a-203, notice is hereby given that Payson City, a municipality of the State of Utah located in Utah County, intends to prepare a comprehensive amendment to the Payson City General Plan. The proposed amendment, which will be subject to future consideration by the Planning Commission and City Council, involves the creation of a Water Use and Preservation Element. This new chapter of the General Plan will address water conservation policies, sustainable landscaping principles, and other recommendations to reduce water demand within the community. Those receiving this notice are invited to provide written information for the City to consider during the preparation, adoption, and implementation of the Comprehensive General Plan Amendment. Written comments may be submitted to Payson City, Jill Spencer, 439 W Utah Avenue, Payson, Utah 84651 or via email at jills@paysonutah.gov.
