PUBLIC NOTICE LAKETOWN MUNICIPAL ELECTION Notice of Municipal Offices to be voted on in the Laketown Municipal General Election. Election to be held on November 4, 2025. - Mayor - 4-year term - (2) Town Council Members - 4-year term each - (1) Town Council Member - vacated seat (term 2026-2028) The candidate filing period begins June 2, 2025, and ends June 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Declaration of Candidacy forms will be accepted June 2, 2025-June 4, 2025, during normal Laketown Office Hours. However, Candidates may contact the town clerk to make alternative arrangements to submit Candidacy Forms during the filing period time frame if the Candidate is unable to come to the Laketown office during regular office hours. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the Town Clerk at 10 North 200 East, Laketown, Utah during regular business hours (Mon- Wed 9:00 AM - noon) unless other arrangements have been made with the town clerk during the filing period. Candidate must meet the following qualifications: 1. Be a United Sates Citizen at the time of filing 2. Be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment. 3. Be a legal resident of Laketown for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the appointment. 4. Be a registered voter of the municipality. 5. Not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored. Posted this day 15th day of April 2025
