NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 22, 2025, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider and receive comments regarding the following: - Highland City is considering amending several provisions of its development code to comply and conform with recently enacted state laws: o Updating regulations and procedures for lot and parcel combinations and other property adjustments to conform with SB 104 (2025) o Updating annexation procedures, notice requirements, improvement completion and warranty assurance requirements, subdivision warranty inspection procedures, requirements for plans for private landscaping, land use appeals and variance procedures, requirements related to private maintenance of public access or infrastructure, to conform with HB 368 (2025) o Adopting appendices, including Appendix D, to the current fire code per HB 368 (2025) o Adding procedures and regulations for the classification of new or unlisted business uses to all applicable zones per SB 179 (2025) For more information or special accommodation to participate in the meeting, please contact the Highland City at (801) 772-4506 Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
