ELECTION NOTICE
NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 4, 2025
A Town of Mantua Municipal Election will be held on November 4, 2025 to elect two
councilmembers and mayor, each to serve a four-year term. A Primary Election, if needed, will
be held August 12, 2025.
Each person seeking to become a candidate for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in
person with the City Recorder at 409 North Main St between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00
p.m. beginning June 1, 2025 and ending June 7, 2025. There is no filing fee. Candidate
qualifications are as follows:
- Eligibility requires being a registered voter in the Town of Mantua.
- Residency in the Town of Mantua for a continuous period of 12 months prior to the
election date is necessary.
- Individuals must not have any felony convictions, nor should they have been convicted
of treason or any election-related crimes.
- A declaration of mental incompetence must not be in place.
