Notice is hereby given that the South Weber Community Redevelopment Agency Board (RDA) approved interlocal agreements for tax diversion with South Weber City, Davis School District, Davis County, Mosquito Abatement District, Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, and Central Weber Sewer Improvement District. Full agreements are available at City Hall during business hours. The agreements outline the development of the Old Fort Community Reinvestment Area, a mostly vacant land set to include an RV Sales and Service Center. The agreements authorize the RDA to receive a portion of each taxing entity's property tax increment as stated in each interlocal agreement. The project is expected to significantly increase property taxes, from $16,624 annually to $168,487 upon full development. A framework is included for the development of the Project Area, with the goal of stimulating growth and generating tax revenue for the City and other entities involved.
The public hearings will be held before the South Weber Community Redevelopment Agency Board (RDA) to receive public comments on 1) the proposed reinvestment area plan and 2) the RDA budget. The plan and the budget are both available to view on the South Weber City Website Public Notice page.
The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at South Weber City Hall, 1600 E South Weber Drive, on May 13, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
