Monika Schulthess opened the meeting in Mayor Sabey's absence. The town board needs to bid out the job to complete the project planned with the grant money received from the Rich County Tourism board. Since there were two members absent, the board decided to do that next month. They will get measurements and Monika Schulthess reached out to Kendall Welch. Kendall Welch was going to reach out to an engineer and look at the state code to help the town know exactly what they need to do to bid the job out.
Joel Marler talked to a man who works with UDOT. There may be an issue trying to get a speed sign on the road that is only open during the summer. He suggested that the Sheriff be contacted to see if they have noticed a problem with speeding and present concerns that the town board has about cars driving too fast on the highways in town.
Parker and Katie Stuart are not going to build in Woodruff anymore.
The town board is going to follow up with Mayor Sabey about the stop sign missing by Pete Mower's house. He was going to contact the county to see what he could find out about it.
Herrera's responded to the offer letter that was sent by the town and it will be discussed in a closed session.
Joel Marler made a motion to approve February minutes. Seiko Webb seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Seiko Webb made a motion to approve the March bills. Joel Marler seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Seiko Webb asked the board if Paul Webb's grandma could be the honoree for the Woodruff Homecoming Parade. She grew up in Woodruff and was involved in the rodeo. The board is going to discuss it at next month's meeting when everyone is present.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
